Local 147 Training Fund pays for course fees, travel, room and board (as applicable).
Local 147 Training Fund generally provides a $50 per day stipend for:
-OSHA: 30 Hour Construction
-OSHA: Confined Space Permit Required
-Basic Industrial Electric
-80 Hour Practical Industrial Electric
-80 Hour Tunnel and Shaft Training (Arizona)
-Hoisting and Rigging
-Shotcrete Nozzleman Qualification
New members or anyone who wants to improve their skill level in the given area.
Selection for training is done on a first come first served basis, We process the course applications in the order that we receive them.
All classes are held on an as needed basis.
Class size is generally 10 people.
